I've been watching lots of good English movies recently and what really got my attention were beautiful soundtracks, the type of music that gets you in a good mood and inspires you in a way other music doesn't. At the moment my list of the most beautiful of them would look like that:

1. 'Cracks' - Fiamma's Theme (a wonderful movie by the way, really enjoyed it)

3. 'Coco avant Chanel' (yes, again) - Le Chagrin de Coco

I know I haven't written for a while, and I know Golden Globes are like history now, but I decided to create my very own list of the most beautiful dresses. I'm really bored right now and need something to cheer me up, and thought looking at all these stunning gowns might help a little.

I put Rooney Mara on the first place because I love her simple and humble look. I'm also very impressed by her performance in "The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo".

We're getting close to the winter actually, but there would be enough cold, boring evenings to post all these snowy pics, so I'd prefer to show you some stunning photos of autumn I found googling.

1880's fashion pictures

Long time ago I discovered a wonderful website fully dedicated to XIXth century fashion, unfortunately it is not available anymore. Luckily, I was smart enough to save the most beautiful pictures that I found there. Here they are, take a look. How different these old ad's are from today's H&M or Zara's campaigns!

Notice: women's incredibly small waists, the titles under the drawings, like "An Afternoon Walk", beautiful evening dresses, and the funny way children dress.

The pictures are set chronological, from the oldest - about 1880, to the newest - 1889.
